Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how Mentora ("Mentora", "we", "us"; the data operator details are set out at the top of this document) collects, uses, and protects personal data of users of the Mentora educational platform available at mentora.su.

Mentora is registered in the Roskomnadzor operators' registry under number #100271782 (key 12770851). Personal data processing is performed in compliance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On personal data".

By using the platform you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree with any provision, please stop using the platform.

When using the platform we may collect the following data:

• Account data: email address, name (if provided), profile photo (when signing in via Google).
• Learning data: selected subjects and topics, dialogue history with the AI mentor, progress, XP level, streak.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, OS, pages you visit, session time and duration.
• Payment data: during subscription — processed by the payment provider; we do not store card data.

• Providing and improving the platform's educational services.
• Personalising learning: adapting style and material delivery to you.
• Sending notifications about learning, new features, and promotions (with your consent).
• Ensuring security and preventing fraud.
• Complying with Russian Federation law.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only with:

• Supabase — database storage and authentication (EU servers).
• Anthropic — AI mentor dialogue processing (data not used for model training without consent).
• Resend — sending transactional email.
• Vercel — platform hosting.
• Government authorities — as required by Russian Federation law.

Your data is stored on secured servers. We use TLS 1.3 encryption for all connections, BCrypt for passwords, restricted data access, and regular security audits. Data is retained for the duration of your account and 90 days after deletion.

Under Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On personal data" you are entitled to:

• Receive information about what data we store about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and all related data.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.

We use cookies for platform operation (authentication, sessions) and analytics (anonymised visit statistics). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect how the platform works.

The platform is intended for users aged 14 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 14. If you become aware of such a case, please contact us at hello@mentora.su.

We may update this Policy. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a platform notice. Continued use of the platform after notification means agreement with the updated Policy.
